Every Published (and not yet published) author knows how invaluable writing groups are.

Since there are no small writing groups in Mainz, that I know of, I figured I’d start my own.

I would like to invite like-minded people to meet up every two weeks to share what we’re currently working on, and to do some creative writing exercises.

We will meet online first, then in person if we click and find a good location for us to hang out and share our work.

You can bring whatever you’re working on – no written text is taboo and any genre is welcome.

However, please know that this is an English speaking group and only texts written in the English language will be discussed.

Please bring your own work (nothing AI or similar), and discretion: The work stays with the author.

We will give each other which ever feedback you are asking for: language, style, grammar, plot – you name it.

I realize that this means a lot of trust – and it’s fine if you don’t want to share your writing at first. We have to get comfortable with each other in order for us to share.

I am looking forward to meeting like minded people – no age restrictions! If you’re in your 70s and want to join – please do, your wisdom would be welcome! If you’re a student who is still young, also don’t hesitate.

Also, I want this to be a safe space, so any and all LGBTQ+ members are VERY welcome, so are all people from any religion, culture etc. No judgment. No racism. Just Art.

Impressionen – Teil 2 -

Nach meinen Impressionen Teil 1 folgen selbstverständlich meine Impressionen Teil 2. Denn nachdem wir unseren lauen Mitsommerabend bei kühlen Getränken, saftigen Hähnchen und leckeren Pommes auf der Zeche Bonifacius genossen hatten, ging es für einige von uns auf zur Zeche Zollverein. Zollverein präsentierte sich nämlich im Lichte der Extraschicht. Und diese Chance wollten wir uns ja nicht entgehen lassen.
