Arghhhhhh!

'Tis a new year and a new start for our Monthly Challenges.

For this #COMICJAMuary2022 we'll be meeting online in our discord voice channel #monthly-challenge.

If ye haven't joined our server yet:

Please sign up ahead of time to ensure everything is up an running. If you have problems with signing up or feel lost on the server, message Alisa.Also, there is a "How to join discord"-tutorial in our facebook group, under the tab "featured" (all the way to the bottom).

What will be we doing?

We'll meet for a casual sketching session online and will draw our fun comicjam!

What is a comicjam?

A comicjam is a comic made by multiple artists. Each artists draws a panel, then the next one takes over, and so on.There is no story pre-written and it can go any way ye want it to!

Depending on how many participants we have, there will be several comicjams simultaneously, so people don't wait too long for their turn.

Out of experience: we get carried away with the digital media and spend an hour on a panel. That should not be the case.So there will be a time limit this time:

Spend 20 minutes on a panel max BUT only lines. If ye want to color it, ye can, while the other person can start off with their panel. (Just make sure that ye incorporate the important colors for the next artist to pick).

Not a digital artist?

No problem!

Just draw traditionally and simply send a scan or good photo in the group.

The comics will be posted online afterwards on social media, our discord channel #comicjam1-2-3 and facebook albums for everyone to enjoy.Can be German or English.
