We skipped our crew challenge in May, but arr back for #JUNEiverse2022

𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀:

1️⃣ Sign up until June 1st 7pm and name in the comments or discord channel which quest ye’ll be choosing.

2️⃣ We work on it and send updates on how we’ve been doing in our Sketch Pirates online discord channel. (Ye can also say ye’ll work on yer project every Sunday for an hour)

3️⃣ Ye can ask for feedback, but can also say ye don’t want any.

4️⃣ At the end o’ the month, we get together and show what everyone has been doing!

⭐ EASY QUEST ⭐

Character Design – Alien Invasion

Design an alien. Can be a quick sketch, a full image, a fancy artwork, etc. Let yer imagination run wild and come up with humanoids, roboters, (an-)organic shapes – can’t wait to see what ye’ll come up with!

This quest is perfect for anyone who wants to participate but doesn’t have much time on their hands. Even if it’s just a rough 10 min sketch, or multiple rough sketches – it’ll get yer creative juices flowin’!

⭐ MEDIUM QUEST ⭐

James Webb Telescope #UnfoldTheUniverse

The James Webb Telescope is THE new hope for all out there hoping for life not just on Earth. Some time this summer, professionals expect to get an answer to some of their questions: Is there alien life? Another planet with human-life-conditions?

WHAT DO YE THINK? What will we find in the near future in the universe (or what do you hope that we will find?)

NASA has their own hashtag and calls for entries to celebrate this event together. Ye can use this hashtag for a chance to featured on their website, and - if yer artwork catches their eye - they will get in touch if they may use it for digital products.

It doesn’t say when their submission deadline ends … only that it got extended.

But ye do not have to! You can simply participate in this challenge for fun without the NASA hashtag.

Space Pirates – Movie Night

Join the crew for movie night on “Space Pirates”. We can watch one or multiple episodes of a series or a movie (to be streamed on Netflix). Will be a live event and if too many people sign up, we might have to have several hosts :P
